Primark chose the FAN Mallorca Shopping Centre for its arrival in the Balearics with a shop 5,700 m² in area, spread over two floors and will be its 42nd establishment in national territory.
The “flagship” store in Palma de Mallorca is for now the low cost fashion chain’s third largest store in Spain, only surpassed by the one in the calle Gran Vía in Madrid and the one in Granada.
Primark’s purchase reflects the success and confidence that the large operators have placed FAN Mallorca Shopping Centre, the cutting edge commercial space inaugurated in September in September last year in the Balearics’ capital.
In Fan Mallorca Shopping Centre, which opened its doors last 22 September, Carrefour Property invested more than 190 million euros with more than 112 establishments including big national and international brands such as H&M, Mango, C&A, Cortefiel, Sfera, Pedro del Hierro, Women's Secret and Springfield; and companies such as Decathlon, Media Markt, Samsung, Artesiete Cines, Starbucks, VIPS, La Tagliatella, Udon, Pandora, Jean Louis David and Dock 39, among others.
The shopping centre has a total area of 170,000 m², with more than 66,000 m² of gross lettable area (GLA) and 2,500 parking spaces.
