Grupo GS has acquired a plot of land in Cala Gració, on the island of Ibiza, for €48 million, which will enable the company to develop its second residential project in the Balearic Islands.
The location of the land, on the Cap Negret Road within the Cala Gració area, is one of the project’s main attractions. It is an established residential area on the Ibizan coast, situated just a few metres from the sea and with good links to Sant Antoni de Portmany.
The plot acquired covers an area of 7,342 sqm and has a buildable area of 5,138.93 sqm. Plans are in place to build 65 one-, two- and three-bedroom homes on this plot, designed to meet the needs of different buyer profiles.
The homes will feature state-of-the-art home automation systems aimed at enhancing comfort and functionality. Furthermore, the development will offer sea views, spacious terraces and a carefully curated selection of communal areas. Key amenities include a swimming pool, sun deck, gym, garage and storage rooms.
The company states that the aim is to offer well-designed, efficient homes tailored to the Mediterranean lifestyle. Integration with the natural surroundings and the quality of the finishes will be key elements in the development of the project. The homes are intended for both primary and secondary residences, in a context where Ibiza maintains its appeal as a leading residential destination.
Construction work on GS Cala Gració is scheduled to begin in the final quarter of 2026. The estimated construction period is 24 months, which would see the project completed around 2028, depending on the planned schedule.
This new development joins GS Ibiza Serenity, Grupo GS’s first development on the island. It comprises 20 luxury homes and represents an investment of €21 million, consolidating the company’s presence in the Ibizan market. GS Ibiza Serenity is situated on a plot of over 2,200 sqm, next to the marina in Santa Eulalia. Completion is scheduled for between late 2027 and early 2028, according to current plans.
