The investment group has acquired land in the Polígono Industrial de San Marcos, in the municipality of Getafe. MP has acquired a plot of 7,500 sqm, where it will promote a logistics warehouse of around 4000 sqm. The operation has been advised by the consulting firm Inmoking Real Estate. The project is expected to be completed in the last quarter of this year.
«This project will help to meet the current demand for medium-sized logistics real estate on an independent plot outside of multi-tenant large-area projects, which are incompatible for certain operations», says Roberto Ágreda, director of Inmoking.
Logistics contracting in Madrid reached 970,000 sqm in 2020, 74% more than a year before. In Barcelona, on the other hand, rental operations for 415,000 sqm were closed, which represented a decrease of 30% with respect to the previous year due to the lack of product.
