The REIT, specialised in the senior segment, acquired the terrains by purchasing Maquavit for 50 million euro, according to Commercial Registry’s official bulletin.
The assets acquired from Mapfre are located in San Sebastián, Palma de Mallorca, Santiago de Compostela and Oviedo and offer a total 800 beds and 150 placements on the day-care centre. All are managed by the operator specialised in senior residences at DomusVi which will continue the same service according to the current long-term lease.
Healthcare Activos Yield is an investment vehicle created in August 2019 by Healthcare Activos and Altamar Capital Partners. It started its activity at the end of September at the Euronext Access Paris panEuropean market.
The REIT’s portfolio is estimated at 310 million euro, with 27 assets (2 hospitals, 18 senior residences, 2 social healthcare centres and 5 policlinics) and it is being managed by Altamar.
With this acquisition, Healthcare Activos’ portfolio reached a total 365 million euro, corresponding to 32 fully operational assets leased to the main operators of the housing segment.
