MIM hotels has been managed by Majestic Hotel Group since 2017. The hotel was founded by the Canut family 50 years ago and was currently in the hands of the family’s third generation.
Following this operation, “MIM Hoteles will carry out a full refurbishment of the asset so as to adapt it to the group’s quality standards», explained Majestic. The establishment will open under the name MIM Andorra.
With this acquisition, the hotel chain directed at the premium holiday segment, expands its focus towards a client who loves mountains, winter sports and food, who appreciates the quality of the facilities and the service of excellence, without forgetting the important commitment with the environment all the company’s establishments have assumed. In fact, all the chain’s hotels have either been or are in the process of being licensed with the LEED seal, issued by the US Green Building Council which regulates the sustainable building’s condition, informed Ara.
With this acquisition, the chain now has five hotels in its portfolio. The other four are: Hotel MIM Sitges, Hotel MIM Ibiza, Hotel MIM Mallorca and Hotel MIM Baqueira. With this new acquisition the group restates its interest in mountain destinations and winter sports.
