Numbers from SEF (Foreigners and Borders Service) to which Lusa press agency had access, showed that 445 golden visas were issued during the first half of the year, 55 of which in January, 100 in February, 73 in March, 98 in April, 52 in May and 67 in June.
During this month, 60 golden visas were issued through the purchase of real estate, 15 of which for urban renewal, for a total of 34.3 million euro (5.2 million euro for urban renewal). 20 visas were issued to Chinese citizens, 8 to Russians, 7 to Americans, 4 to South-Africans and 3 to Brazilians.
Since October 2012, 9834 visas, 874 of which for urban renewal, were issued, for a total investment of 5.877 million euro, 5.317 million euro of which corresponded to real estate investment and 315 million euro of which corresponded to urban renewal, quoted Eco.
