The company’s first hotel in the city brought a new life to the former El Príncipe hotel, located in the city centre. Alda Hotel’s Managing Director Alberto Rodríguez Boo considers that «it is an important investment to open a hotel in the city of Zaragoza» since it also represents the hotel chain’s first hotel in the Autonomous Community of Aragon.
The hotel chain integrated the building after its owner invested on its full refurbishment. Consultant CBRE, which reported the news this Monday, was responsible for leasing the building to Alda Hotels.
The opening of this hotel during the pandemic shows, according to Miguel Ángel Gómez Rando director at CBRE’s office in Zaragoza, «the operators’ interest in the Zaragoza hotel market, where we expect to, once the current situation is overcome, keep consolidating its touristic attractiveness, highlighting the city’s vibrancy».
