Despite the recent influx of foreign buyers, our research shows that Portugal’s non-resident population is around 10%, which is below the USA’s 15%, Germany’s 20% and Switzerland’s 30%. Portugal has the space and infrastructure to support a higher non-resident population, and we believe that the current trend will continue for the foreseeable future. The country will ultimately benefit economically from the inflow of wealth and ideas.
