There's a new residential project in Quinta da Pícua, in Águas Santas, just 20 minutes from the centre of Porto. It's called Pleno and it's being developed by VIZTA. With a total of 110 flats, ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, Pleno is aimed at those looking for functional, comfortable living in contact with nature.
Located in front of Parque da Pícua, the project, designed by MVCC Arquitetos, aims to offer a housing solution with a connection to nature and provide a sustainable lifestyle. Currently, 46 per cent of Pleno's flats have already been sold or reserved, as a result of the private sales phase.
This launch marks the first phase, with an investment of around 29 million euros and construction starting this July, with delivery of these 110 flats expected to begin in June 2027.
The second phase of Pleno is under development and is scheduled to start construction at the end of the first quarter of 2026, while the third phase is scheduled to start construction at the beginning of 2027. Overall, Pleno will offer around 380 homes, with an investment value of around 105 million euros.
The outdoor spaces (communal and private) have been carefully integrated into the landscape, promoting a balance between urban life and the natural environment. Pleno was developed according to the principles of BREEAM Certification, a commitment to energy efficiency, reducing environmental impact and the well-being of its residents. Highlights include reinforced thermal insulation, natural ventilation and the strategic orientation of the windows, which maximises natural light and minimises energy consumption.
Quinta da Pícua is located in the parish of Águas Santas in Maia, one of the leading residential areas in the municipality and the Porto Metropolitan Area. It has a strategic location and excellent access by road and public transport, including direct links to the centre of Porto and Francisco Sá Carneiro airport via the Metro.
