The Pryconsa Group is launching a project comprising 300 social housing units for rent in the new neighbourhood of Los Ahijones, south-east of Madrid. It will also feature a wide range of retail and service outlets on the ground floor.
The plot has a total floor area of 26,500 sqm, with the entire ground floor designated for commercial use, and is situated in the central roundabout around which the new urban development is centred, at the junction of Gran Avenida del Sureste.
The project will also benefit from excellent transport links, both due to its proximity to the area’s main road network and to the future Line 9 Metro station.
This development is Pryconsa’s first major project developed in-house using the developer’s industrialised construction model. Work is scheduled to begin in 2026, launching a new line of business focused on optimising project timelines, construction efficiency, cost control and improving the final quality of the product.
In addition to this plot, the Pryconsa Group also owns another site with similar characteristics in the same area, which strengthens its position in Los Ahijones, where it is already building its first two developments.
The company has delivered more than 75,000 homes in Spain, operating as part of a business group owned by the Colomer family. Its portfolio includes flats and single-family homes for primary residences in the Community of Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Bilbao, Cáceres, Valladolid, Málaga, Mallorca, Cartagena, Alicante, Badajoz and Palencia.
Furthermore, it is developing residential complexes on the beaches of Isla Canela and Ayamonte, where it also manages two 18-hole golf courses and a marina.
