Neinor Homes has launched Amezola Homes, a residential project located in the Amezola neighbourhood of Bilbao. The planned investment amounts to around €30 million and is expected to generate around 350 direct and indirect jobs during the three years of construction. Delivery of the homes is scheduled for the second quarter of 2029.
The development includes 74 homes with between one and three bedrooms, as well as three commercial premises on the ground floor. The design includes the incorporation of glazed terraces in some of the homes. The building will have communal areas such as a gym, a gourmet room and a rooftop terrace for the exclusive use of residents.
The project is being developed on the site of a listed former industrial building, whose rationalist façade will be completely renovated.
Amezola Homes is part of the neighbourhood's urban transformation process, which was driven by the underground railway project and has led to the incorporation of new residential areas, green spaces and public facilities. The area has educational and healthcare centres, sports facilities, shops and large retail outlets, as well as a public transport network that includes the underground, tram, bus and commuter train, just a few minutes' walk from the city centre.
This project is in addition to the latest delivery of the second phase of its development on the Isla de Zorrozaurre in Bilbao, which involved an investment of around €90 million and the addition of 160 new-build homes.
