Grupo Insur has acquired five plots of land in Mazagón, in the province of Huelva, to develop a residential scheme comprising 233 detached homes. The project, located in the El Vigía area, will represent an investment of more than €80 million.
The acquisition covers a total land area of 130,208 sqm and forms part of the developer's strategy to expand its residential pipeline along the Andalusian coast.
The development will comprise detached homes with communal amenities. Marketing is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027, while the first homes are expected to be delivered in 2029.
Mazagón is located on Spain's southern Atlantic coast, between Huelva and the Doñana Natural Area, with road connections to Huelva and Seville and rail links providing access to Madrid. According to Grupo Insur, the area has benefited in recent years from growing industrial activity and investment linked to the energy transition and sustainability sectors, supporting demand for new residential developments.
The project adds to Grupo Insur's portfolio of residential developments in Andalusia, where the company continues to expand its land bank in coastal markets.
