Goya Real Estate has officially inaugurated Delfin Natura, a new tourist-residential complex located in El Albir (Alicante), developed on a plot of more than 30,000 sqm between Albir Beach and the Sierra Helada Natural Park. The project has required a total investment of 80 million euros and proposes a mixed formula that allows buyers to use the flats as a residence or incorporate them into a holiday rental programme managed directly by the developer.
The complex has been built on the former site of the BBVA employees' residence, which had been in disuse for years. The intervention has resulted in 1,200 sqm of communal areas, 6,000 sqm of gardens and 5,800 sqm of terraces. According to the developer, the design incorporates characteristic elements of the surroundings, such as the old agricultural terraces, and includes services such as an outdoor swimming pool, spa with heated pool, gymnasium, cinema room, coworking and garden areas.
The first phase of the project includes 73 flats, of which only three are currently available. The second phase, consisting of 25 units, is completely sold out. In the third phase, which is currently being marketed, 54 of the 62 flats have been reserved. The average selling price has increased with each phase: 449,000 euros in the first phase, 516,000 euros in the second phase and 655,000 euros in the third phase.
During the presentation ceremony, the CEO of Goya Real Estate, Sergio Vidal Balaguer, pointed out that the origin of the project goes back to "the memories lived by thousands of families for more than half a century on this land" and explained that their aim was to "design an open, luminous and lively space, where the inhabitants are the soul of the complex".
The predominant profile of the buyers is investors, although some of the homes have also been earmarked for use as second homes during the summer period. The development has attracted buyers of more than twelve nationalities, mainly from the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany and France.
According to the developer, Delfin Natura has been developed under environmental criteria aligned with BREEAM certification at the Excellent level. Among the actions carried out are the recovery of more than 600 specimen trees, the planting of 7,200 native species with low water consumption and the conservation of the estate's historic wells. The entire irrigation system is supplied without using drinking water, through aquifers built in 1963.
