Finangeste is going ahead with a new urban development site in Tomar. The "Quinta do Contador" project represents an investment of around 60 million euros and will be developed on an area of 199,000 square metres, less than two kilometres from the city's Polytechnic Institute.
The plan calls for the construction of 345 homes, including affordable housing, as well as commercial premises, offices and student residences. With a buildable area of 44,000 square metres above ground and a building index limited to 0.25, the project also includes significant concessions for public spaces.
The urbanisation works are scheduled to begin in September this year, marking the start of a new quarter in the city and a significant improvement to the surrounding urban fabric. The urban development component of the project received legal support from the team led by Sara Barroso, from CMS Rui Pena & Arnaut.
"We're excited about this project in Tomar, a city that has made a name for itself for its ability to attract visitors and tourists, but also talent and business, and which is ranked 57th out of 308 municipalities in the Bloom Portugal 2022 ranking. This project also confirms Finangeste's aptitude for large property projects in locations outside the major metropolises," Finangeste's management said in a statement.
