The Mestalla site is up for sale for mixed-use development

Valencia CF has entrusted CBRE with the marketing of the land where the Camp de Mestalla stadium is currently located. The plot, which will remain occupied by the stadium until the club moves to Nou Mestalla in the summer of 2027, has a buildable area of approximately 90,000 sqm.

The urban planning envisages a mix of residential and tertiary uses, including spaces for hotel accommodation and offices. This configuration will transform the area around the current stadium into a new multifunctional urban environment, in line with trends in the regeneration of sports assets and the development of mixed-use land in established areas.

The operation will be led by CBRE's Sports division, launched in April this year and specialising in maximising the real estate value of sports-related assets and promoting their integration into the urban fabric. The process will be carried out in close collaboration with CBRE's Valencia office, which has been present in the city for 25 years.

Coordination between the two teams will combine local market knowledge with technical expertise in sports asset management, with the aim of defining a sales strategy in line with the potential of the land and its urban context.

Among the projects developed by the consultancy firm are operations such as the new Celta360 sports city, owned by RC Celta de Vigo, and Everton Stadium, owned by British club Everton F.C.
