Sareb sells its headquarters to Bancalé Group

Sociedad de Gestión de Activos procedentes de la Reestructuración Bancaria (Sareb) completed the orderly process of selling its headquarters in Madrid, led by Anticipa-Aliseda. The operation has culminated in an agreement with the Bancalé Group, of Aragonese origin and specialised in the real estate and logistics sector.

The holding company, which has assets valued at 300 million euros, has acquired the building under a sale&leaseback model, whereby Sareb will continue to be the tenant of the property. The entity has today signed the sale and leaseback contract simultaneously.

Anticipa-Aliseda, which is also in charge of management and marketing services for the public entity's property and loan portfolio, has been in charge of directing and ordering the sale, which is part of Sareb's divestment and debt repayment mandate.

Sareb has occupied this property, located in Madrid's Mirasierra neighbourhood, since 2020. Located at Calle Costa Brava, 12, it was fully refurbished in 2018 and has a surface area of over 6,000 square metres of office space, distributed over four floors above ground, as well as 145 parking spaces. It is a BREEAM-certified building for sustainability. The ground floor is dedicated to common areas for the two tenants and includes an auditorium, meeting rooms and a cafeteria.
