Signal Capital, a private investment and asset management company with a strong presence in the European market, and Sonae Sierra, a multinational integrated real estate company, have announced the development of an innovative new mixed-use project in Lisbon: República 5. Located on one of the city's main thoroughfares, the project has a gross floor area of 30,000 sqm, with a residential component, an office area and retail space.

Located in one of Lisbon's most prestigious neighbourhoods, and in close proximity to Atrium Saldanha, the new development will allocate its largest area, 11,600 sqm, to flexible office space spread over 12 floors, designed to accommodate different types of demand, plus some 250 parking spaces. The residential area occupies a further 2,400 sqm, with 20 flats with access from Rúa de Picoas.
Conceived to achieve high sustainability standards and ensure excellent environmental and energy performance in line with ESG best practice, the project's design is human-centred, contributing positively to the physical and emotional well-being of all those who live and work there.
The contemporary and essential lines of the architectural project conceived by Saraiva + Associados create a serene and relaxing environment and represent a premium concept for República 5 that responds to the latest urbanistic trends. The project has been assigned to Reify, Sierra's division specialised in creating, renovating and improving urban spaces, being responsible for the Project Management and Coordination, Site Management and Licensing. With completion scheduled for the first quarter of 2024, the office leasing is being led by JLL and CBRE, and the residential component by JLL and Castelhana.
