The Spain Real Estate Summit is entering a new chapter. On 4–5 May 2027, the fourth edition of Iberian Property’s international investment forum will move to the Royal Site of La Granja de San Ildefonso, the former summer residence of King Felipe V, trading the pace of the conventional conference for two days in one of Europe’s most distinctive historic settings.
Organised by Iberian Property, in collaboration with main sponsors CBRE and JLL, the Summit has established itself over the past three years as a meeting point for international investors and key decision-makers active in the Spanish real estate market. For 2027, the ambition is to build on that foundation while giving the event a more distinctive character: a private retreat where senior industry figures can step away from the daily demands of the market, exchange perspectives and develop relationships in a more relaxed environment.
Attendance will be strictly by invitation, with a limited number of participants. Rather than pursuing scale for its own sake, the Summit will prioritise the quality of the people in the room and the conversations they can have. The setting is central to that approach, creating space for reflection, informal encounters and the kind of dialogue that is often difficult to achieve in a packed conference schedule.
Built in the 18th century at the foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama, the Royal Site offers a series of historic venues for the occasion. Sessions and activities will take place across the Royal Palace and its monumental gardens and fountains, the Casa de los Infantes, the historic Corps of Guards building and the Royal Glass Factory. Together, these locations will provide a setting in which the professional programme and the experience of the gathering are designed to complement one another.
Iberian Property is currently developing a programme that will bring together perspectives on the investment environment, the forces shaping real estate markets and the strategic choices facing international capital in Spain. The intention is to create a focused framework for discussion among peers, balancing structured debate with opportunities to continue conversations beyond the conference room.
The Iberian Property Investment Awards will once again form part of the occasion, with the awards ceremony and gala dinner providing a moment to recognise outstanding transactions, projects and achievements across the Spanish real estate market. Integrated into the wider Summit experience, the evening will bring together industry leaders to celebrate the activity and investment shaping the sector.
The previous edition, held at La Finca UZalacaín in Madrid on 5–6 May 2026, welcomed more than 350 real estate professionals and international investors. The 2027 gathering will take a deliberately different approach, retaining the Summit’s international outlook while placing greater emphasis on intimacy, discretion and the value of time spent together.
