Pictet increases its investment in the Spanish logistics market. Swiss asset manager Pictet together with its local partner Freo has acquired a 43,500 square metre logistics asset in Alovera (Guadalajara), which previously belonged to CBRE IM, according to Expansión.
It is one of the largest properties located in the Corredor del Henares area and was renovated in 2021. It is currently leased to 3PL.
The platform is located in the Los Picones Industrial Park, located in one of the main logistics areas in Spain, where companies such as Carrefour, XPO, ID Logistics, Tech Data and Luis Simoes are located. The transaction has been advised by CMS, Savills and Deer.
Together with Freo, it also acquired in July last year a 25,000 sqm warehouse in Barcelona for 31.5 million euros through a sale and leaseback transaction.
