Invext Corporation buys a 27,000 sqm plot in Valencia to build a logistics centre

Invext Corporation, the Royo family office, has acquired a 27,000 square metre plot in prime Valencia to build a logistics centre in the former DOSaDOS-TU TEMPO facilities.

The family office expands its logistics portfolio and its presence in Valencia with the acquisition of this plot in Quart de Poblet, for the construction of a 17,000 square metre logistics centre, close to the city centre and the Port of Valencia.

The project will comply with environmental criteria within an ESG strategy, achieving the Breeam 'Very Good' certificate.

Invext has been advised by Olivares Consultores in the acquisition and development of this green project, with the aim of developing it for rent in order to meet the requirements of the main logistics and distribution companies.

Santiago Royo, Ceo of Invext comments that "we are very excited about this acquisition as the location on the front line of the A3 and with the A7 is unbeatable and we are already working with the Quart de Poblet town hall to apply for the building permit in January 2024, in this first stage we are carrying out demolition works to later start the construction of the warehouses".

Víctor Jiménez, Director of the I/L Department of Olivares Consultores: "With Invext we share the same vision about real estate developments in Prime areas. After approaching Invext with this purchase, today we are starting the reconversion of obsolete facilities with the commercialisation on a rental basis at a time of clear shortage in this area, and high demand".

For six years, Invext's main business focus in its real estate division has been the development of logistics centres and this new acquisition adds to the existing portfolio in the southern area, specifically Parc Sagunt with 20,000 square metres (plot of 30,000 square metres), the northern area in Catarroja with 12,700 square metres (plot of 20,000 square metres) and the central area in Ribarroja with 3,600 square metres (plot of 5,000 square metres) among others. "For us it was very important to have a presence in the main locations in Valencia, and this acquisition reinforces the central area, which was one of our priorities", according to Santiago Royo.
