B&B Hotels has added the B&B Hotel Salamanca Santa Marta de Tormes to its portfolio. The three-star hotel has 86 rooms and will be operated by the group under a long-term lease agreement.
The addition gives the group two hotels in Salamanca, including the property it already operates in the city centre, and three establishments in Castilla y León.
The hotel will undergo a rebranding and adaptation process over the coming weeks to meet the brand’s standards. Its facilities and services include air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, buffet breakfast and a coffee and tea area.
The move forms part of B&B Hotels’ growth strategy in Spain and Portugal, which combines new developments with the incorporation and repositioning of existing hotels through long-term lease agreements with owners and specialised partners.
With the addition of the Salamanca hotel, the group now has 71 establishments in Spain and 90 across Spain and Portugal, including 19 hotels currently operated in Portugal. Internationally, the group has more than 940 establishments in 19 countries.
