The building is located in Barcelona’s district 22@, at number 6-14, Pasaje Mas de Roda. The operation’s amount was not disclosed. One of the goals for the office building is to have it certified LEED Platinum for new construction buildings.
The operation was advised by BNP Paribas Real Estate, which had previously led the building’s leasing process to Flexible Spaces, from group IWG.
Flexible Spaces currently has four coworking spaces located in district 22@: at Diagonal 131, calle Pallars 193, Torre Mapfre and Pasaje Mas de Roda. And it expects to open two more spaces during 2021, one at the Plaza Universidad and the other at Vía Augusta.
Francisco López, director for Catalonia at BNP Paribas Real Estate, remarked that «this new operation is a clear reflex of the dynamics with which the Barcelona office market has been recovering since the start of 2021».
