Following its business plan, the Socimi acquired 4 commercial assets in Portugal, namely a hypermarket and three supermarkets owned by Grupo Continente, as explains the company to the Spanish newspaper EjePrime.
The operation was carried out in two phases, the first being the acquisition of all the shares of the company Haciarriba - Projetos, Negócios e Promoções, which owns an asset in Charneca da Caparica. Later, completed the operation with the acquisition of the remaining 3 assets through this same company. The purchase was made with equity.
Earlier this month, Ores purchased an assets portfolio in Spain for €63 million. With this new acquisition, Ores adds investments in the Iberia of more than €150 million, "fulfilling its investment objectives included in the business plan and in accordance with the financial parameters agreed with the shareholders", states the same source.
