Neinor Homes has one of its main business focus in Andalucía, particularly in Córdoba and Malaga, where is undertaking twelve residential developments, in places like Estepona, Benalmádena, Marbella or Fuengirola; it will join Teatinos Homes, the first in the capital of Malaga, hosting 110 houses in the newest part of the city, near the University.
The presence of the company in Malaga is acting in accordance with its intention to center the activity in those areas where the residential market shows clear signs of recovery. Therefore, both the capital and the coast of Malaga are favorable markets, given the actual quality housing supply shortage, facing a growing and informed demand requiring features like innovation, sustainability and design.
During the presentation, Juan Velayos, consultant at Neinor Homes, explained that the company predicts to continue growing in the region, through new purchases of land for urban development, to be announced in the next few months, as a strong commitment to the region.
After investing more than €200 million in Malaga, these new acquisitions will help to stand up new houses, both residential and for holidays. Although it is not the core business of the company, the region economic situation enables to put part of the spotlight in this type of product.
«Our plans are to keep growing in Andalucía in general and in Malaga in particular. We believe this is a region with a huge potential and the demand we get confirms it», explained Juan Velayos.
Regarding the industry situation, Juan Velayos noted that «the company wants to make its contribution for the recovery of the sector among the local companies. Our goal is to become a benchmark in this sector and in this region, contributing to the transformation and modernization of the industry. We want to be part of the growth of the region, boosting the sector and the economy through direct and indirect jobs creation».
Neinor Homes has in Andalucía land at a value of €236 million, with capacity for 2,750 houses. National speaking, the company has lands in the amount of €1,300 million (more than 10,700 houses), distributed by Madrid, Cataluña, Baleares, País Vasco, Andalucía and Valencia.
