In fact, the total number registered so far this year has almost matched the total of last financial year, when it was reached 404,000 m2. In particular, the contract logistics between April and June of this year has reached 269,000 m2, doubling the number registered in the previous quarter, with 130,000 m2.
According to Alberto Larrazábal, national director of Industrial & Logistics at CBRE, “this raise in contracting is due, mainly, to an increase in the number of transactions of large areas, which has been strengthened by a phenomenon with an growing influence in society, particularly among e-commerce sector”.
