Up to now, Sanz had been in charge, from December 2004, of the Area of Transactions HT, directing the process of the formalisation of completed transactions and their processing with CNMV, under whose supervision all their activity takes place.
His appointment as general director, reporting directly to the Council of Administration of the company, consolidates the organisational structure of HT, once the process of integration into HAYA Real Estate (HRE) is finalised, of which it has been a part since April 2015, when the real estate group acquired Ahorro y Titulización.
Sanz García has a degree in Mathematical Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and was an associate professor at la Universidad Francisco de Vitoria for the course “Masters in Global Risk Management” and titular professor in Discreet Mathematics at the Colegio Universitario in Segovia. He began his career at the Caja Madrid (now Bankia) in 1999, where he specialised in the valuation and management of risk of credit in the División de Gestión de Riesgos Corporativos (Corporate Risk Management Division) and the Departamento de Titulización (Department of Securitisation). In 2004 he joined AyT (now HT), where he was in charge of the Área de Operaciones (Area of Transactions).
