This is one of the conclusions from a recent report from Gloval and DLP Piper on the Iberian real estate market. The hotel sector is followed by logistics, with a 5% profitability, offices, with 4% and prime high street retail, with 3%.
The office sector was the one in which REITs invested the most, 30% of all investment, followed by retail and the hotel sector, with respectively 28% and 27%. Logistics concentrated 10% of investment.
11.800 million euro were invested in the Spanish commercial real estate market in 2018, 13% more than in the previous year, close to the 12.000 million euro historic high reached in 2015, quotes Expansión.
