The Sevillian firm Grupo GS has acquired a bag of residential land of 6,450 sqm in Seville and Cádiz for 12 million euros, according to ABC de Sevilla. The acquired land has a buildable area of 9,000 sqm, on which about one hundred luxury homes will be built, in which another 18 million euros will be invested.
Projects in Seville
Specifically, in Seville, the land is located in the Los Remedios neighborhood around the Plaza de Cuba. There it is planned to demolish the three detached houses acquired to build a total of 30 luxury homes, with their corresponding parking spaces. This promotion, whose homes will be put up for sale this March, has involved an investment of 11 million euros. The cost of the houses per sqm will be 3,700 euros.
The other project that the company is going to develop in the Sevillian city is located at number six on Puente y Pellón street. The operation also includes the demolition of a house to build seven, six parking spaces and two premises, which will involve an investment of 5 million. In this residential, prices will range from 4,000 euros per sqm.
The third of the projects is located on Calle Al Andalus de Mairena, a plot of land that has 3,700 m2 of building space and where 21 homes with swimming pools and green areas will be built at a price of € 2,200 / m2. The investment in this promotion amounts to 7.5 million euros.
Projects in Cádiz
The last of the projects to be carried out by Grupo GS after the purchase of this bag of land will take place on Juan Ramón Jiménez street on the corner of General Ricardos, in the Bahía Blanca area. It is planned that 15 homes will be built with 18 parking spaces and a swimming pool, which will mean a total investment of 4.5 million euros. The acquisition of the site has involved an outlay of another 1.2 million.
According to the Sevillian newspaper, the company has 16 promotions underway, with 260 homes, which will bring its business volume to 80 million euros, 23% more than in 2019.
Jose Luis Vera, owner of 100% of Grupo GS and president of the company, has also indicated that they are about to close other land purchase operations in Madrid, Málaga, Cádiz, Tomares (Seville), Mairena del Aljarafe (Seville) and the Andalusian capital to build another 600 homes.
