Most of the asset belonged to Sareb which owned thirty of the hotel’s rooms. The investors from Valencia reached an agreement with Sareb in two stages last Fall, which facilitated the negotiations with the remaining investors.
The complex’s new owners expect to open the hotel on the 2nd of July. The managing company has an agreement with chain Sercotel since the beginning of 2019. The complex will cater to both family and sport tourism, since it has a golf course amongst its facilities.
The hotel was developed by hotel Alicante Urbana, from local entrepreneur Joaquín Rocamora. The hotel was owned by several companies, amongst which financial entities which were left with the ownership of the rooms, which later were passed on to Sareb.
The building has 252 rooms and is located in the Mutxamel municipality, province of Alicante. It is a four star luxury hotel and is close to the port of Alicante and the beaches of Campello and San Juan.
