According to data from SEF (Foreigners and Borders Service), in October 125 golden visas were granted, out of which 118 were the result of buying real estate, which include 19 investments in urban regeneration, in a 66.8 million total investment.
Since the start of the program, 6.687 residence permits were issued, 1.134 this year and 3.981 were issued to Chinese citizens, for a total of 4.1 billion euro invested in Portugal, 3.6 billion of which in acquiring real estate.
