According to the latest data from CMVM, real estate investment funds (FII) invested 0.5% less in October, for a total of 7.646.6 million euro. Special real estate investment funds managed a total of 2.370.1 million euro, 0.7% less than the previous month. FUNGEPI (Real Estate Management Funds) managed 340.2 million euro, 1.5% less than in September.
According to the same numbers, during this period, European Union countries were the destination of all real estate investment. 47.3% of real estate investment funds and special real estate investment funds concerned services real estate. Investments carried out by FUNGEPI were directed mainly towards the retail segment, which represented 64.5% of all FUNGEPI investment.
In October, Interfundos (12.7%), Square AM (11.5%) and Caixa Gestão de Ativos (9.3%) held the highest market shares.
