BBVA is selling this building, with the Aguirre Newman consultancy taking charge of the operation according to news from Spanish Real Estate. The building has an area of 15,000 square metres plus parking spaces. It has 23 storeys and is 100 metres high, the work of designer Rafael Moneo.
A price of more than 50 million euros is being considered, and the auction has sparked interest also in other potential investors.
The same source notes that recently the Puigs took on a second office tower from Colonial, at a cheaper sum, also in L’Hospitalet, beside the present block on land owned by the Exea Corporation. The property adds to the balance of BBVA , with the purchase of Catalunya CaixaPuig, the company which built the tower for the perfume multinational.
