Atom invests €10.6M in the refurbishment of its Sol Jandía hotel

Atom’s goal is to «significantly improve its offer and raise the hotel’s rating to 4 stars», it can be read in the release made available at Mercado Alternativo Bursátil.

The hotel specialist REIT intends to increase the amount of rooms – from 294 to 295 –, as well as their quality by fully equipping them. The integration of a new buffet, a Lobby Bar, a Wellness area and a restaurant with terrace and pool is also in Atom’s plans. Among the innovations, there is also a pool bar and a kid’s club.

Located in Fuerteventura, the second largest Island in the Canaries (Spain), this hotel is part of the company’s holiday offer, which represents 60% of all the assets. Currently, the company has 21 hotels estimated at 489.2 million euro.

During the first three months of the year, Atom continued the refurbishment of its Hotel Sol La Palma (also located in the Canaries), estimated at 10 million euro.

«In 2019 we will work on improvement plans in several assets within our portfolio so as to increase their rents and optimise their results», mentions the company in the same document.
