The French Socimi Iroko Zen purchased two supermarkets, in Barcelona and Asturias, both are operated by the Día chain.
The place located in the city of Barcelona is located at Calle Rocafort 244, in the Eixample. The rental contract is valid until 2038, and the purchase of this asset was closed in July, despite being only announced now.
On the other hand, the Avilés (Asturias) property will remain leased to Dia until 2033. The supermarket chain has shown a strong commitment to the property, carrying out a major reform in 2016. This asset has 1,200 sqm and is in a commercial / residential area , with stores such as Zara or Massimo Dutti.
The Socimi seeks to become a real estate investment group with a European scope. To do this, it has also bought supermarkets in Germany and France, the country of origin of the listed company.
