Hermes Properties has completed the sale of a retail asset at Puerto Venecia, Zaragoza. The sale follows the completion of the development and the signing of leases with Popeyes and Gasexpress. The buyer is a private investor. INMOKING advised on the real estate side and Delta Asesores on legal and tax matters.
The sale ends a process that began when Hermes Properties acquired the land. The company identified the opportunity as part of its investment strategy, developed the project and agreed the leases with the operators. This created an income-producing asset before the company moved to sell it.
The arrival of Popeyes and Gasexpress put the land into use and brought retail activity to the site. This completed the investment cycle Hermes Properties carried out at this strategic location within Puerto Venecia.
"This deal reflects how we approach real estate investment: identifying opportunities, developing assets with a defined strategy and actively managing each project until the right moment to exit. The aim is to create value at every stage of the asset's life cycle and to keep rotating capital into new investment and development opportunities", said Juan Criado, Managing Partner at Hermes Properties.
