The company specialising in oncology treatments has sold three assets located in Andalusia in a sell and leaseback transaction worth 27 million euros, market sources have confirmed to PlantaDoce.
The US fund Medical Properties Trust (MPT) has acquired the three GenesisCare clinics: GenesiCare Campo de Gibraltar (Algeciras, Cádiz), GenesisCare Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) and Genesiscare Málaga. The group specialises in buying, investing in and developing hospitals and centres for healthcare operators and healthcare providers, according to the same sources.
These are three facilities specialising in radiation oncology. MPT becomes the owner of the properties and enters into a medium to long-term lease agreement with the healthcare company.
