CF Intercity has exercised its option to purchase a plot of land covering approximately 100,000 sqm in Rabasa, Alicante, thereby securing the land on which the Alicante Park project will be developed.
The land acquisition has been formalised for a total amount of €2,604,500, of which €1,804,500 has already been paid, whilst the remaining €800,000 has been structured as a deferred payment over ten years, at a rate of €80,000 per year.
The purchase of the Rabasa land represents a decisive step forward in the development of Alicante Park, as it secures the availability of the land on which the project will be built.
“The completion of this transaction represents a decisive step towards making Alicante Park a reality. We are building a key piece of infrastructure that will contribute to the economic and social development of Alicante,” said Salvador Martí, CF Intercity’s chairman.
CF Intercity continues to work on the administrative procedures for the project, making progress in obtaining the necessary authorisations to accelerate its development.
The project, with an estimated investment of over €60 million, involves the construction of a versatile, state-of-the-art venue, designed to host both sporting and entertainment events. Among its key features, it will include infrastructure capable of hosting large-scale concerts with a capacity of over 30,000 attendees, as well as a football stadium with an initial capacity of 10,000 seats, expandable as required.
In addition, the complex will incorporate areas dedicated to events, catering and activities linked to sport and leisure, creating an environment designed to offer experiences all year round.
