VIC Properties has begun construction of Factory, the new building in Prata Riverside Village, whose name is intended to honour the manufacturing legacy of the parish of Marvila. With 53 flats, Factory joins the other eight buildings in the development: The One, Riverside, West, Square, Urban, Park, Art and South.
With typologies ranging from studio to four-bedroom apartments, Factory, like all the Prata buildings, seeks to cater for clients with different profiles and needs. The development will also have a private car park, equipped with a charger for electric vehicles. Also as part of the promotion of sustainable measures, the building's residents will be able to take advantage of a home automation system, through which they will be able to get more out of the shading of the windows, reducing the amount of energy used to regulate the temperature of their homes.
VIC Properties has taken another important step towards finalising Prata Riverside Village. At the moment, the project has six buildings completely built and sold. The Art and South buildings are also being developed, with completion scheduled for 2026, and with a sales rate of 85 per cent and 65 per cent respectively.
‘With more than 50 per cent Portuguese buyers, but also clients from all over the world, the neighbourhood is naturally eclectic and incredibly diverse, perhaps united by a common vision of what they expect from modern life. We can say that Prata has established itself as a project that is not only on a par with the best in Portugal, but even globally. And the recognition of clients from more than 40 countries is proof of that,’ says João Cabaça, co-founder and CEO of VIC Properties.
In addition to the existing commercial spaces, such as restaurants and cafés, a hairdresser, a pilates studio, a grocery shop, decoration and bicycle shops, a launderette, art galleries and author's studios, the development has recently added a pharmacy and a clinic. And very soon, a new restaurant and hairdresser will open their doors.
