US by Kronos has started construction of its first flex living project in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid, following the granting of a building permit in July. The complex will be located in the Aldovea sector and will comprise 300 units.
Designed by Estudio Lamela, the development will include 104 studios, 120 one-bedroom units and 76 two-bedroom units. The homes will feature fully equipped kitchens and large openings to the exterior. The complex will also have 194 parking spaces and a range of communal areas, including an outdoor swimming pool, gym, café-coworking space and lobby.
The project forms part of the wider Aldovea urban development in the Corredor del Henares. It is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2028 and will have connections to the A-2 and M-50 motorways. Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport is around ten minutes away.
Monthly rents are expected to range from €900 to €1,400, depending on the unit type. The fee will include basic expenses and services, including fortnightly cleaning and access to the communal areas.
Kronos already has two residential projects in Torrejón de Ardoz: Park 74, developed by Kronos Homes, and STAY Torrejón, a 121-unit Build to Rent development that has been operational since 2023. The new project marks US by Kronos’ entry into the flex living segment in the municipality.
