Taylor Wimpey España is investing €21 million in a development of apartments within the Almazara Boutique Residences complex, in the municipality of Istán, in the province of Málaga. The British property developer is launching homes with prices starting from €460,000 in a new residential development named Almazara Gardens.
The development comprises two- and three-bedroom apartments and forms part of a complex that has been developed in different phases within the same location, organised into separate communities. The Almazara Boutique Residences brand also includes Almazara Forest, Almazara Views and Almazara Hills, the latter of which has already been fully sold.
The total investment volume for the complex amounts to €59 million, the sum of the various developments comprising it. In addition to the €21 million for Almazara Gardens, there is €9 million for Almazara Forest, €18 million for Almazara Views and €11 million for Almazara Hills.
In terms of sales, the development has recorded 72 homes sold to date. Of the total, 65% are flats and 35% are townhouses. The project has buyers from 25 different countries, with the British market predominating and domestic buyers accounting for 13% of reservations.
The municipality of Istán is situated 15 kilometres from Marbella and forms part of the Costa del Sol catchment area. The development is part of the growth of the residential market in the inland areas of the province of Málaga, where there is activity in projects linked to second homes and medium-term stays.
