The student accommodation company The Student Hotel has obtained financing worth 90 million euros.
According to TopHotel, the capital granted by Banco Santander, Sabadell and HSBC, will be used to develop two new projects in Madrid and Barcelona. In addition, they will rely on this amount to refinance already existing projects.
The Student Hotel maintains an investment program of 2,000 million euros to expand its presence in the European markets in the next five years.
To date, it has three projects underway in Spain: Barcelona, San Sebastián and Madrid. The one in the capital consists of rehabilitating an old printing press located in Plaza España to create accommodation with 300 beds. In the future complex, students will have a restaurant, sky bar, gym, coworking center, common kitchen, meeting spaces and a games area.
