RTV Grupo Inmobiliario has secured an investment of approximately €29 million following the formalisation of the acquisition of two residential plots in Sant Adrià del Besòs, in the Barcelona metropolitan area.
The company plans to develop two residential developments near the Fòrum de Barcelona and the new La Catalana neighbourhood, which together will comprise 77 units. The project includes 69 flats, 6 lofts and 2 commercial premises, spread over a land area of more than 1,600 sqm. The total floor area will be around 9,700 sqm.
The development is primarily aimed at primary residences, with two- and three-bedroom flats designed to meet current market demand. Of the total floor area, approximately 7,500 sqm will be above ground and some 2,200 sqm in underground levels, intended for services and parking.
The development located near the Fòrum will comprise 42 flats, 6 lofts and a retail unit. The complex will be organised into two residential blocks of 26 and 16 flats, with one-storey plus six-storey and one-storey plus four-storey configurations.
Meanwhile, the La Catalana project will feature 27 flats and a retail unit. This building will be constructed with a ground floor plus six storeys, adapting to the urban layout of the new neighbourhood.
Both developments have been designed by the MOA (Moliner Office Architects) studio, which has adopted an approach focused on functionality, architectural quality and adaptation to the current needs of homebuyers.
The two developments are situated along the Besòs–Fòrum coastal corridor, one of the most promising areas in Barcelona’s inner metropolitan belt. Thanks to this connectivity, future residents will be able to reach the centre of Barcelona in under 25 minutes. Furthermore, the area boasts established amenities and leisure facilities that enhance its residential appeal.
The estimated completion time for both projects is 36 months, during which the development of the two schemes will be completed up to final handover. RTV Grupo Inmobiliario thus plans to bring new homes to the market in an environment of high demand. With this operation, the company is consolidating its growth strategy in the inner suburbs of Barcelona, where it is currently developing more than 180 homes.
In addition to this activity, the group is also active in other markets, such as Ibiza, where it currently has 141 additional homes under construction.
