Premier has acquired a plot in Granollers, Barcelona, where it will invest €14.2 million to build a residential development comprising 57 homes. The project will be built on a 1,400-sqm plot, located at 111 Ripollès Street, with a total buildable area of 6,524 sqm.
Furthermore, the homes will have two to four bedrooms and will incorporate solutions focused on energy efficiency and resource optimisation.
The purchase forms part of the company’s ongoing operations in Catalonia, which focus on acquiring land for the medium term. The firm currently has four other developments in the marketing phase within the province of Barcelona, specifically in the towns of Mataró, Sant Andreu, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat and Viladecans.
For the current financial year, Premier estimates record turnover of €194 million – the highest turnover in the company’s history – driven by the handover of 469 homes, 91% of which have already been sold.
The developer, which operates as a subsidiary of the Bassac Group and is listed on Euronext Paris, continues to operate in the Madrid and Barcelona markets, where it has delivered 10,000 homes since 1989.
