Martinhal has unveiled Marvila Studios, a 374-unit flexible accommodation development that will form part of the Edu Hub Lisbon campus in the Marvila district of eastern Lisbon.
Designed by architect Eduardo Capinha Lopes, the project will comprise fully furnished studio apartments, each equipped with a private bathroom and kitchenette. The development is intended to accommodate a mix of university students during the academic year, alongside professionals, digital nomads and short-stay visitors.
The scheme will include co-working and study areas, fitness facilities, a café and bar, shared laundry rooms, storage facilities and a 24-hour reception, all managed by the Martinhal Group.
Marvila Studios is integrated into Edu Hub Lisbon, an education-led campus that already includes the United Lisbon International School and is expected to incorporate further higher education, professional training and innovation facilities in future phases.
Located between the Beato Innovation District and Parque das Nações, the project forms part of the ongoing regeneration of Lisbon's eastern waterfront, an area that has attracted increasing investment in residential, education and innovation-related developments in recent years.
Alongside its hospitality operation, the project will also include 326 studios available for private investment under a leaseback model, with prices starting at €130,000.
