Inbisa has intensified its presence in the Catalan residential market with the acquisition of a new plot of land in Sant Antoni de Calonge (Girona), a strategic location on the Costa Brava and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. The company plans to invest approximately 20 million euros in the development of a residential development that will include more than 80 homes.
The project will be located on a plot of more than 6,100 square meters, located between the streets of L’Empurda and Xatrac. It will be characterized by offering different types of housing, common areas and will be close to the local beach and the marina of Palamós.
According to Albert Martí, commercial director of the Eastern Territory of Inbisa: With the acquisition of this new plot, Inbisa disembarks, for the first time, in the residential market of Girona, where we have seen the opportunity to expand our residential portfolio with the aim of satisfying a latent demand detected both for first homes -for interested parties in the town itself and surrounding areas- and second homes -mainly buyers from Barcelona, Girona or even also from France”.
Martí also highlights the company's commitment to the residential market in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands: “We consider the Catalan and Balearic residential market to be a strategic priority for our company. In recent years we have been very active in these areas, with a portfolio of almost 400 homes in the provinces of Barcelona and Girona and having delivered in recent years more than 600 homes in locations such as Barcelona city, Viladecans, Ripollet, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Sant Cugat del Vallès or Palma de Mallorca”.
The company, which has a portfolio of more than 1,100 homes nationwide, maintains a positive approach to growth and innovation in the construction sector.
