Iberia Reim has completed the acquisition of a plot of land located at 32 Calle Capuchinos in the city of Malaga. According to company sources, this is the third property to be incorporated into Arabí Living, its investment vehicle specialising in the development of tourist accommodation projects, joining its projects in Alicante – which has already been completed – and Valencia.
Plans for the site include a 27-apartment building with BREEAM Spain certification, managed by a specialist operator under a long-term lease agreement and featuring a rent guarantee structure. The planned opening date is November 2028.
The real estate capital management firm and investment manager also state that it has a projected net Internal Rate of Return of around 20%, demonstrating “the quality of the location and the rigour in structuring the transaction”.
Arabí Living is an investment vehicle managed by Iberia Reim, created to transform real estate assets into high-value tourist accommodation buildings in cities with strong demand and low seasonality, such as Valencia, Alicante and Málaga.
According to Iberia Reim, this vehicle allows investors to participate in a “robust and professional” model, which combines the identification of strategic locations, the development or conversion of the property, its operation through leasing to a leading tourism operator (with fixed and variable rent), and the subsequent sale of the assets either individually or as a whole.
