Home Club opens a new flexible rental building in Barcelona

Home Club has inaugurated the Ribera building, a building with nine flats and a private rooftop in the exclusive neighbourhood of El Born in Barcelona. With this building, the company now has more than 70 flats under management in Barcelona and 1,400 in total, with the aim of reaching 5,000 by 2026.

The Ribera building is a historic building in El Born with a unique architecture and a privileged location opposite the cultural centre of the same neighbourhood. The building has nine fully-furnished, avant-garde design flats with one or two bedrooms for rent for one to twelve months. The building's private rooftop, accessible to all flats, offers a large space with panoramic views of the city of Barcelona.

El Born is an emblematic neighbourhood in the city of Barcelona, as it is close to both the historic centre and the Gothic Quarter, as well as being close to the city's coastal area and port. The combination of medieval style and avant-garde rehabilitation of the buildings makes its streets a privileged environment. The cultural, commercial and service offer of the area, as well as the vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere of Barcelona, position it as a fashionable neighbourhood and one of the most desirable to live and enjoy the Catalan capital.

With the opening of Ribera, Home Club continues to increase its commitment to the rental offer in Barcelona following the recent launch of Living Rosselló in the heart of La Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample, a residential development of 12 flats that includes all kinds of services for tenants such as co-working, co-living and gym.

"The demand for flexible renting continues to grow rapidly in cities like Barcelona, which combine a great tourist attraction with a high quality of life. At Home Club we pioneered this market segment more than twenty years ago and have ambitious growth plans to meet the huge increase in demand for this type of housing, especially with the rise of digital nomads. Flexible renting not only offers a higher return to owners, which can be up to 50% higher than traditional renting, but also contributes to the attractiveness of cities through a quality residential offer adapted to the changing needs of the population," says Sandra Cabello, CEO and co-founder of Home Club.

Home Club has a comprehensive management model that includes everything from the initial valuation of the property to marketing and commercialisation, as well as refurbishment and interior design services and property management. The company manages premium homes both nationally, in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Malaga; and internationally, in Miami and Mexico City.
