The SOCIMI Home Capital has sold two of its properties in Barcelona for a total of €13.25 million, as announced in a statement issued via BME Growth. Following the sale of these two properties, the property company now retains just one building in the Catalan capital.
The first of these properties is situated at number 173 Villarroel Street, in the L’Antiga Esquerra del’Eixample neighbourhood, one of Barcelona’s most prestigious residential areas. The property covers an area of 889 sqm, in a six-storey building comprising one commercial unit, five two-bedroom flats and five one-bedroom flats. It has been operational since November 2021, under the operational management of Home Select.
Meanwhile, the second property is situated in the 22@ district, at 279 Pujades Street. The neighbourhood, located in the north of Barcelona, is a former industrial area currently undergoing regeneration, and is now Barcelona’s most dynamic office district. It is a newly constructed building with a floor area of 2,073 sqm, comprising five storeys with 17 one- and two-bedroom flats, a commercial unit, parking spaces and spacious communal areas. It became operational in April 2022 and is managed by Caterina Corporate House.
Home Capital had nine properties in its portfolio, all of which were medium-stay properties, valued at €87 million. Following the sale of these two properties in Barcelona, its portfolio has been reduced to six properties in Madrid and one in the Catalan capital.
