Habitat buys four plots in the Canary Islands for €15M

Habitat Inmobiliaria has acquired four new lands in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in which it will invest more than 15 million euros to build a development of around 83 homes.

The developer thus reaffirms its commitment to Gran Canaria, where it will add around 400 homes in three developments in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and a development in the municipality of Telde; thus generating more than 1,000 jobs.

"Our company has always bet on the enormous potential of Gran Canaria, so, with the acquisition of these new lands, we want to continue contributing to the development of the area and respond to the new needs that Canarian customers pose to us," states José Carlos Saz, CEO of Habitat Inmobiliaria.

These four new acquisitions total more than 8,600 sqm of buildable area and are located on the Carretera de Chile, next to one of the developments that the company is currently under construction, and whose delivery is scheduled for next year, Habitat Vistamar.
