Grupo Fogesa has finalized the acquisition of land in the municipality of Casarrubuelos, Madrid, to develop a residential project specifically for young people and families in need of affordable housing. The transaction involved an investment of €7.7 million.
The new development involves the construction of social housing with prices set in line with the official pricing guidelines for this type of housing. According to the developer, the design of the development will take into account criteria relating to sustainability, energy efficiency and urban planning, with the aim of meeting the current needs of future residents.
The company indicated that the project definition phase will begin in the coming months. During this stage, key aspects such as the type of housing, communal spaces and the integration of the development into the town’s urban environment will be finalised. The aim is to create a functional residential development tailored to actual demand.
Furthermore, the approach includes the creation of spaces designed for families’ everyday lives, with particular attention to the quality of the urban environment. This approach aims to contribute to better integration of the new residential area within the municipality and its orderly growth.
